You believe in supporting handmade artists and want a high quality item made using traditional skills.
All of my glass products are made at the torch by me and only me, I'm also the only one that will be answering your messages or comments on socials so you know that if you ask a question you're going to get a direct answer.
Every piece of glass is kiln annealed for maximum durability, annealing is a process that holds the glass at a certain temperature for a set amount of time then cools in a slow and controlled way so all the molecules that were bouncing around inside the hot glass can find their place and settle in.
For returns on eligible items, please contact me within 14 days of receipt to arrange. Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt in their original, unused condition.
Once received, refunds for returned items will be processed, including the original base shipping. Optional shipping upgrade costs are not refunded.
Memorial items are ineligible for return as they are highly personalised items.

Description
This blue barrel-shaped bead features intricate red and white stringer work wrapped in a marbled or ribbon-like design around its circumference. Based on archaeological finds from elite burials on Bornholm (c. 700–760 CE), it reflects the craftsmanship of early glassworking centres such as Ribe and Åhus.
Measuring 15mm x 8mm with a generous 4mm hole, this bead is ideal for thread or thong-based jewellery, re-enactment wear, or as part of an artefact replica display.
Each bead is handmade using soda-lime glass in a propane/oxygen flame and kiln-annealed for durability.
As a historical reenactor and glass artist, I create each bead with period-informed techniques and accurate references to ensure historical authenticity. Whether you're a fellow reenactor, a historical jeweller, or simply a lover of Viking history, this bead offers a vivid glimpse into early medieval Scandinavian life.
